Dr. MUNIR AHMED
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Munir gained a B.E (Metallurgy) degree in 1978 from Dawood College of Engineering & Technology Karachi, MS (Metallurgy) in 1982 and a Ph.D. (Metallurgy) in 1985 from Institute of Material Science, University of Connecticut, USA.
He holds 36 years rich experience in progressively senior positions. Prior joining Aisha Steel Mills he was associated with People Steel Mills as Managing Director and also heading EPRF (ENAR Petroleum Refining Facilities).
He was associated with Peoples Steel Mills Ltd. for the last 15 years in different roles including General Manager (Project/BMR), General Manager (Operations), Director Operations and lastly as Managing Director.
Dr. Munir was Member (Industrial Project) in Dr. A.Q. Khan Research Laboratories from June 2009 to June 2014, and also contributed as Chief Scientist from 2002 to 2009.
Dr. Munir Ahmed contributed significantly in the field of Metallurgy and Material Engineering through his researches & publications. Till date he has published 45 articles in Journals and proceedings of International repute.
He was also invited by University of Connecticut, USA in June 1989 as a Visiting Scientist to carry out research in the field of thin film superconductors.
He was honored with Special Creativity award by National Science Foundation, USA, on the basis of “exceptional creativity” shown in research work on surface modification.
He was also awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the Govt. of Pakistan for his contribution in the field of Metallurgy.
Mr. Umair Noor
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Umair Noor is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, whereby he completed his training from Price Waterhouse Coopers.
He brings with him a decade long varied experience in Finance, Tax, ERP Implementation, Project Management, Project Appraisal (local and international) and Audit together with leading medium to large sized teams in Chemical, Energy, Cement and Asset Management sector.
Before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer in March 2017 from Deputy General Manager Finance, he has worked in senior positions adding depth and scale to his knowledge and experience.
These includes Exide Pakistan Limited, Thatta Power (Private) Limited, Thatta Cement Company Limited and Habib Asset Management Limited. His interpersonal and intellectual skills are assurance of ascent to newer horizons for the Company.
MR. KHAWAR A SIDDIQUI
General Manager Sales & Marketing
Mr. Khawar A Siddiqui has 28 years of rich experience in the field of Sales & Marketing. He has done his MBA Marketing from WIU, Arizona; USA.
He holds membership of AMIM, UK; MITA, USA and MAP, Pakistan. He was also member of Think Tank Committee of IEP, Karachi. Mr. Khawar joined ASML as General Manager bringing in his expertise since 2015, serving Arif Habib Group of Companies.
He previously worked for a multinational company Future Pipe Industries LLC, Dubai and developed the market of Fiberglass products in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh & Srilanka.
He has been associated with Crescent Steel & Allied Products Ltd for 15 years; selling steel products in Oil, Gas & infrastructure sectors of Pakistan. Mr. Khawar is a dynamic professional with exceptional leadership engagements. He is one of founding members of Pakistan Steel Construction Association.
MR. AMIR RASOOL
Mr. Amir Rasool (GM Production)
Mr. Amir Rasool has over 28 years of rich experience in steel making and rolling mill management
He worked with “Dost Steel” as GM Plant Operations and also served in Arabian Gulf Steel – UAE, Agha Steel, National Steel – KSA, Sohar Foundry & Marine Engg.
Oman, Peoples Steel Mill & Huffaz Seamless Pipe Industries Ltd. He holds BSc. Degree in Metallurgical Engineering & Material Science from UET Lahore.
Mr. Farhatullah Siddiqui
General Manager Engineering
Mr. Farhatullah Siddiqui gained his B.E (Mechanical Engineering) degree in 1993 from NED University of Engineering & Technology. He later completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Institute of Business Administration Karachi. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional from NED University of Engineering & Technology.
He has over 23 years of experience in the Engineering sector. Prior to joining Aisha Steel Mills Limited, he worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Manager at Hill Metals Establishment overarching all aspects of maintenance, Project management, plant modification, capacity building, product diversification and capacity enhancement of the steel plant including Induction Furnace, LRF, CCM, EOTC & Utilities.
He worked for 4 years at People Steel Mills ltd. as Deputy General Manager (Maintenance).
He also has rich experience in the Engineering & Maintenance sector from Multinational and Local companies like Berger Paints Pakistan, Pakistan Security Printing Corporation Karachi, & Gatron Polyester Private Limited.
MS. HINA AKHTAR
General Manager HR & Administration
Ms. Hina Akhtar holds 19 years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management.
She started her Professional Career from Hino Pak Motors in 1995 and in 2008 she got opportunity to work as Director HR & Operations in Kalsoft Limited.
Ms. Hina joined ASML in 2012. She holds Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Adamson University, Manila Philippines. Her academic achievement comprises of being awarded Gold Medal in intermediate program.
Mr. Manzoor Raza
Company Secretary
Mr. Manzoor Raza is the Company Secretary of Aisha Steel Mills Limited and Arif Habib Corporation Limited. His role encompasses a wide range of matters ranging from corporate law to compliance.
He is a member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers and has been associated with the Arif Habib Group since 2003.
He worked with Arif Habib Investments Limited (now MCB-Arif Habib Savings) before moving to Arif Habib Corporation Limited in 2011.
Prior to his joining Aisha Steels as a company secretary, he was looking after the secretarial function of Arif Habib Dolmen REIT Management Limited as well.
