Key Accountabilities:

• Observe & implement legal & other requirements (i.e., SEPA, NFPA).
• Conduct detailed investigation of accidents and incidents.
• Plans and conducts emergency mock drills (i.e., Emergency Spill, Fire Fighting, evacuation drill).
• Identify potential environmental, health, and safety hazards within the workplace and conduct risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate risks.
• Ensuring the availability/performance of fire-fighting equipment throughout the premises of the mill.
• To conduct firefighting training for staff as per the training plan.
• Oversee EHS requirements for contractors and vendors working on-site to ensure their compliance with safety regulations
• To assist/provide first aid & take precautionary steps in case of emergency.
• Issuance of work permits (all types), conducting safety talks, site survey etc.
